| Camel trek N°1 During: 8 days Season: From mid october to mid June Level: This camel trek is for all ages and levels, family included (from 5 to 7 hours walking per day) In case of fatigue, dromedaries can always be made available for children.  Arrival. Assistance and transfer to hotel. We will travel the Tichka Pass (2260m), the highest Moroccan road-pass, with 4X4 and have lunch at Ouarzazate. Then, the road will go over the Aït Sawn pass, in the arid Sahro Group, before discovering the most beautiful south Moroccan valley, the Draa in Zagora. Here, we will travel along a nice 47km path to reach the Faija plateau. There we will meet our camel drivers. The campground will be set near some dunes. Easy climbing and descent down a small pass; from here we enjoy a large panoramic view of the Anti-Atlas summits. We will discover a rocky desert with black rocks covered with green vegetation where some nomads are living under tents made of goat and dromedary hairs. A campground is provided at the foot of the Abbes Djebel, near a small deserted ‘marabout’. We will cross a vast stony plateau and then climb some hills. At the top of them we will discover the sandy desert. At last, we shall arrive to Chicaga Dunes, where a walk during the sunset will be possible just in front of the campground at the bottom of the dunes. We will cross dunes and see tamarisks; then we will arrive at the large Bougarn dunes. Camp at the foot of the large dunes.  We will take advantage of the spectacular sunrise on the Bougarn dunes, and then continue the journey through tamarisks and acacias. We will camp that evening near a well dug by the “Marathon des sables” organization. Group ride with dromedaries and a visit of a potter’s workshop in Tamegrout. We will join Ouarzazate and visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Night in hotel in Marrakech. Transfer to airport and assistance. Other circuits "Deserts" are offered in the pages nearby.
